Suburbicon is a peaceful American town, characterized by large houses and well-kept lawns. It's the perfect place to raise a family, and that's exactly what the Lodge family is doing in the summer of 1959. However, this apparent tranquility masks a terrible truth. Gardner Lodge (Matt Damon), a father and husband living in the town, will confront Suburbicon's darkest aspects through betrayal, deceit, and violence.
