Exactly 20 years have passed since we last saw Lloyd and Harry chasing each other at the end of the first film, and while much has changed, their idiocy certainly hasn't. When Harry, in need of a kidney transplant, discovers he has a long-lost daughter, he snaps Lloyd out of the deep apathy he's been in since Mary dumped him. Together, they embark on a cross-country journey to find the girl who might be able to help. Leaving the clinic where they reside, and traveling across the country in a ridiculous mode of transport, they eventually arrive at a summit attended by some of the world's most intelligent people.
