It's a Wednesday night in 2028, and the streets of downtown Los Angeles are completely blocked by riots and protests. City police forces are violently repelling demonstrators who have dyed themselves blue to press their single demand: clean water.
Amidst this inferno, four men are on the run, their faces covered by skull masks. They've just botched a bank heist, ending up in a shootout with the police. Wounded and with no other options, their only hope of survival is to reach, as quickly as possible, a 13-story Art Deco building with a dilapidated facade. Once a prestigious hotel, it's now a safe haven that conceals, in its penthouse, a state-of-the-art hospital. This emergency facility is highly exclusive, reserved for criminals only; membership is paid in advance, and all house rules must be followed to the letter. The facility is run by a woman known to all as The Nurse. She always has only one thing on her mind... the Hotel Artemis, and tonight, she's particularly busy.
