The most famous space traveler from Planet Baab, Scorch Supernova, is a hero, thanks in part to his brainy brother Gary, who is the head of missions at BASA. When BASA's strict chief, Lena, intercepts a distress call from the Dark Planet, a notoriously dangerous world located at the edge of the universe, Scorch jumps at the chance to embark on an unprecedented rescue mission. But Gary tries to convince his brother to avoid the trip, knowing full well that no intergalactic explorer has ever returned from this distant world (also known as Earth).
