On April 20, 2010, the Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico became the site of one of the world's worst man-made disasters. This is the story of the 126 workers aboard that day, caught in the most harrowing circumstances imaginable – highly skilled men and women who were putting in a grueling shift, hoping to return to their families and their lives on land. In an instant, they were thrust into the worst day of their lives, forced to find the courage to fight against an unstoppable inferno in the middle of the ocean and, when all seemed lost, to try and save each other.
