For the third time in four years, Leone Film Group celebrates a Golden Globe win for Best Motion Picture. Following La La Land in 2017 and Green Book in 2019 (which also won an Oscar that same year), 1917, directed by Sam Mendes, has taken home the award for Best Motion Picture. Mendes also won the Golden Globe for Best Director for this sensational cinematic work, shot entirely in an immersive single take. 1917 will be released in Italian cinemas starting January 23rd.
