Rome, February 11, 2019 – Leone Film Group (“LFG”) is proud to announce the signing of a multi-year commercial agreement with Amazon Prime Video. All new films distributed by LFG in cinemas over the next two and a half years will be exclusively available on Prime Video in Italy. The agreement will significantly increase both the value of the first Pay-TV exploitation window and the value of the proprietary library. Andrea Leone, president of the film distribution and production company founded in 1989 by Sergio Leone, and listed on the AIM Italia market since 2013, commented: “With the rapidly changing meaning of pay-TV, and users demanding increasingly high-quality content, we are proud to embark on this partnership with Amazon, whose mission, like ours, is to bring the best content to an audience always eager to discover new, top-tier audiovisual products.”
