Leone Film Group and Wattpad, the global multi-platform for original stories and a leader among social storytelling platforms, will develop The Bad Boy’s Girl as a feature film. Leone Film Group has also optioned the entire series of novels that make up The Bad Boy’s Girl saga. Based on the eponymous Wattpad sensation written by Blair Holden, The Bad Boy’s Girl is one of the most popular stories on the platform, with over 220 million reads. Wattpad, Voltage Pictures, and Leone Film Group previously collaborated on another famous franchise also based on a story born on Wattpad, After, which Leone Film Group distributed in Italy. After and its sequel After 2 were huge box office successes in Italy and worldwide.
