12 Golden Globe nominations for Leone Film Group

Leone Film Group received twelve Golden Globe nominations, showcasing its ability to present films of every genre. 1917 garnered three nominations for Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Director, and Best Original Score. Director Sam Mendes, through a single continuous shot, recounts the struggles of two young soldiers during World War I as they cross enemy lines to deliver a message that could save thousands of lives. Knives Out received a nomination for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, an original mystery in the vein of Agatha Christie, starring Daniel Craig (nominated for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy) and Ana de Armas (nominated for Best Actress – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, alongside Cate Blanchett in Where'd You Go, Bernadette? and Beanie Feldstein in Booksmart). In Bombshell, Charlize Theron and Margot Robbie were nominated for Best Actress – Motion Picture Drama and Best Supporting Actress – Motion Picture, respectively. Missing Link also received a nomination for Best Animated Feature Film.
