"Fathers & Daughters" is a love story between a father and daughter living in New York City. It's an original story told across two parallel timelines, set years apart. The narrative shifts back and forth between the 1980s, a period when Jake Davis, a Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist and widower, battles a serious mental illness while trying his best to raise his 5-year-old daughter, Katie. Twenty-five years later, Katie is a beautiful young woman living in Manhattan, estranged from her father for years. She still battles the demons of her troubled childhood and her inability to fully commit to a romantic relationship.
