Once upon a time Sergio Leone

The Cinémathèque française in Paris, the largest archive in the world dedicated to cinematography, is dedicating to Sergio Leone an important retrospective from October 10, 2018 until January 27, 2019. Screening of his films (even those in the role of producer), meetings with critics, conferences, will follow in a continuous tribute to the director who has taken the codes of the western rewriting the genre, and that from that genre has been made immortal.

Not only films and debates, but also a permanent exhibition with personal belongings to Leone, who died in 1989: the passport, the original volumes of his library, the paintings that furnished his house and his studio, some original parts of scenographies of his famous films, to the gifts received by the actors he directed.
