HIGH PERCENTAGE FOR TAX CREDIT UP TO 40%
It is accrued during production of foreign films and tv series on a monthly basis. Tax Credit is calculated on the eligible production costs actually incurred and paid by the Italian production service company (IPSC).
FAST – 30 DAYS FOR THE APPROVAL AFTER APPLICATION SUBMISSION
Within 30 days from the date of receipt of the Preliminary Request, MIC communicates the recognition (or non-recognition) of the cultural eligibility of the work. Within 60 days from the date of receipt of the Final Request, MIC communicates the final amount of tax credit assigned to the production (“Final Tax Credit”).
NO CAP BY COMBINING MORE PRODUCTION COMPANIES PER PROJECT
The total value of the Tax Credit is up to 40% of the eligible cost, the maximum amount of Tax Credit is Eur 20 million per IPSC per year, in case of larger production several IPSC can join plafonds.
DIFFERENT INCENTIVES THAT CAN BE CUMULATED
Tax Credit can be combined with Regional film Funds as well as with other European incentives.

Eligible works are audiovisual works intended as:
1- Theatrical motion pictures,
2- TV Works and
3- Web Works of non-Italian nationality.
