Dumb Money is David versus Goliath version 2.0.

The movie is the insanely true story of ordinary people who came together to revolutionize global finance, transforming GameStop (yes, the mall video game store) into the hottest company in the world. An ordinary boy, Keith Gill (Paul Dano) aka Roaring Kitty (Roaring Kitty), started all this and, from the basement of his house, invested his life savings on Game Stop shares suggesting to do the same to his followers through his Reddit profile.

The value of the shares skyrocket as well as his life.

But when the big hedge funds arrive on the verge of bankruptcy, the system tries to restore the balance of power, because playing the stock market is not child’s play.
