Monday morning full of satisfactions for Leone Film Group: four in fact the statuettes obtained by the movies acquired and distributed by the company during the 91° Annual Academy Awards, including the most desired and the most important, the one for the best Picture for Green Book, Peter Farrelly’s feel-good movie which is already a hit at the box office.
Green Book received 3 awards in total: in addition to best film, best original screenplay (Brian Currie, Peter Farrelly and Nick Vallelonga) and best supporting actor (Mahershala Ali). An Oscar also went to another title named Leone, Vice by Adam McKay, who was awarded with the statuette as best makeup and hairstyling (Greg Cannom, Kate Biscoe and Patricia Dehaney).
